"Being a participant in the panel discussion with Libby Knott from Art Money and Justin Lees, the director of Wester Gallery in Newcastle, was truly a delightful experience. The opportunity to engage with such a diverse and interested audience filled me with immense joy. During the discussion, I had the privilege to articulate my perspective on a subject close to my heart: the importance of cultivating a deep love for the art we choose to collect.
Witnessing the audience's genuine interest and engagement further affirmed the importance of this discourse. It was heartening to see individuals resonate with the idea that loving the art we collect not only enhances our personal enjoyment but also contributes to a vibrant and impassioned arts community.
It was a privilege to contribute to the conversation alongside fellow professionals, and I left the event inspired by the collective enthusiasm for art and its transformative potential in our lives.
I encourage everyone to visit 'A Glint of Koi', wonderfully curated by Michael McIntyre, and I thank Gosford Regional Gallery and Joanna O’Toole for inviting me to participate."
